Membership:
Jeremy Payne was born and raised in Northern California where he has also spent his entire golf career. He attended Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo where he graduated with Honors in 2004 with a degree in Environmental Horticultural Science, focusing in Turfgrass Management. Following graduation Jeremy was selected to be a NCGA Superintendent Intern at Meadow Club in Fairfax, a position he says laid the best foundation possible for building the passion and skills needed for a career as a turfgrass manager. Over the last nine years Jeremy successfully secured positions of increasing responsibility across five additional courses throughout the Northern California region. He now resides in Rocklin, with his wife and two kids, and is currently a Class A Superintendent at Napa Golf Course, one of 26 properties within the CourseCo Golf Management portfolio. Jeremy has been a GCSAA member since 2003 and is currently a member of both the NCGCSA and SNGCSA, the latter for which he served as a board member from 2009-2013, eventually serving as President. Recently Jeremy participated in a Sustainability Circle project through REV with other CourseCo courses and local area businesses, crafting a Sustainability Action Plan.
