Parker L. Ferren, CGCS, is the Director of Golf Course and Grounds Maintenance at Copperleaf Golf Club in Bonita Springs, Fla. He earned his turfgrass management degree at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Ferren worked as an assistant superintendent and then held several superintendent positions before joining Copperleaf. He is a Past President of the Palm Beach GCSA and the Florida GCSA President for 2023-24. Ferren was first Certified in 2019 and is a 19-year member of GCSAA.
