The Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd design is a golf course that will test your skills while dazzling you with views of the surrounding mountains, canyons, and the famed Las Vegas skyline. TPC Las Vegas has also hosted professional events, included the PGA TOUR Champion’s Las Vegas Senior Classic and the PGA TOUR’s Shriner’s Hospitals for Children Open.
TPC Las Vegas is currently seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent I.
Responsibilities include:
• Recruiting, hiring, scheduling and performance management of employees
• Making daily golf course maintenance assignments in accordance with agronomic/turf management plan
• Managing a crew of operators
• Maintaining adherence to established turf management plan
• Ensuring proper pesticide/fertilizer application and calibration
• Assist Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations with maintaining budgets
Qualified candidates will have the following:
• 2 or 4 year turf degree
• 3-5 years experience
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to train/supervise a crew of up to 20 on a daily basis
• Strong attention to detail, passion for excellence and a great attitude
• A desire to advance within the turfgrass industry
• Familiarity with 419 Bermuda Grass and Bentgrass a plus
