TPC Las Vegas has also hosted professional events, included the PGA TOUR Champion’s Las Vegas Senior Classic and the PGA TOUR’s Shriner’s Hospitals for Children Open.
TPC Las Vegas is currently seeking an Irrigation Technician. This position’s primary responsibility is to maintain the golf course irrigation system in proper working condition.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform specific task relative to Irrigation Technician I training, including:
o Operating satellite controllers
o Identifying water drought stress areas of Turfgrass
o Basic knowledge of golf course watering practices
o Perform basic irrigation head repair, including digging, lifting, removing, leveling, and sod repair
o Learning exact locations of all heads, valves, and quick couplers on the golf course.
• Maintain logs for the operation, maintenance, and gas usage of each machine
• Perform daily tasks necessary to keep the maintenance facility clean, organized, and a safe working environment
