Roch Gaussoin, Ph.D., is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina State University. He is a native New Mexican and an alumnus of New Mexico State University, earning his bachelor’s in Agronomy and his master’s in Crop Science. His Ph.D. was completed at Michigan State University in Turfgrass Science. Gaussoin has conducted academic research for more than 40 years. He is a frequently invited speaker to conferences nationally and internationally. Gaussoin received the Distinguished Service Award from the Nebraska Turfgrass Association, the Exceptional Service Award and Lifetime Achievement Award from the Nebraska GCSA, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rocky Mountain Turfgrass Association, the GCSAA Col. John Morley Distinguished Service Award and the USGA Green Section Award.
